Ying Ying is a research officer at Singapore’s Institute of Mental Health (IMH). Her research interest in peer support, recovery and growth beyond psychosis was informed by her lived experience with schizophrenia and two-year stint as a peer support specialist at IMH. Prior to joining IMH, she spent seven years in the UK and Switzerland, where she earned her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in neurobiology. She moonlights as a home baker, bringing joy to people one cupcake at a time.
